Very tasty and authentically prepared Peking duck, presented by the chef with a personal cooking recommendation, to be ordered 2-3 days in advance despite Corona. We would love to come back!

great tasting, authentic chinese food! Ordered peking duck over the phone (has to be done 3 days in advance, we asked on Tues night for a Thursday night pickup and it was still fine). Owner was very nice, insisted that we just paid for the duck and told us where to buy the sides. So instead of the 80+ euro price for the whole meal, we got the whole duck for 26 euros (and there's an asian mart very close by where you can buy the duck wraps and sauce). Could not get such a good deal anywhere else.

It was pretty cold in the restaurant - justification - Corona. We ordered 3 dishes but only got 2. One was very tasty. The other one was perhaps typically Chinese, but if I order a dish with meat, it doesn't have to be 75% fat. We let it go back, we could order something else without any problems, which was ok again. The food on the menu was very authentic Chinese. Anyone expecting the classic "sweet and sour duck" in the style of Chinese restaurants in Germany should m. E. Choose another restaurant. Those who want authentic Chinese food will not be disappointed.

No buffet due to Corona.

Very authentic cuisine, otherwise only eaten in Singapore and China. Everything we ordered was fresh and really fantastic in taste. Great price-performance ratio. Thumbs up !

A few years ago, when the shop had another owner, we regularly came here to eat buffet. With the new owner, the focus has apparently shifted from the menu to authentic Chinese dishes. I strongly recommend ordering according to the Chinese menu! In the past, I had a similar experience with the buffet as the other reviewers. Sparsely replenished and not all fresh. However, the food from the Chinese menu was fantastic and a whole new experience for me! In addition, a typically Chinese friendly service (broken German included) and a very nice atmosphere. The prices are absolutely reasonable.

The food is simply delicious and inexpensive. For the hungry people is ideal. Especially drinks or great staff, you shouldn't have to wait.

Eat hot pot, expensive, poor service, not recommended. Beef and mutton is not fresh, it is the frozen roll of the supermarket. The pork belly is not fresh. There are also very few other dishes and no seafood. The bottom of the pot relies entirely on MSG and salt, until the next day will always feel thirsty, the other taste is very light. From our point of view a detour to the restaurant is recommended throughout. My husband and I were there together and each one of us ordered something else - on my part I can say I tried something from everything and it was really cool. The guesthouse is easy to reach! The convenient transport links makes a visit possible. Certainly I come here for my part here with my relatives and can rely on being served brilliantly.

I ordered the food and brought it home, it tastes so good! Because I like to taste spicy, I like to add chili to the chef's cold dish. The dishes are appetizing. Thanks to the boss (❁ ω`❁) will definitely patronize again!

Delicious traditional Chinese food. You have to order extra with a la carte menu. Good atmosphere and very pleasant. Buffet was ok, Teppanyaki was awesome! Fresh and tidy grilled by the young guy. Together with a Coke Zero I had € 18 (inclusive 50 Cent tip) paid and was also very friendly. Very nice experience. 5 star

Beer lukewarm and sparkling. Beef for 15 € looked good on the photo in the menu, but was glued together in aspic, cold and had a green glow. Fish with red curry was completely overcooked. Many times here. The food is very traditional Chinese food. The "Peking ducks" here is delicious. For me, this restaurant is at the forefront of all Asian restaurant in Braunschweig. The chef of the restaurant is also very nice. The waiters are all friendly. Every season here a specialty dish would be bought. This is really a good place for friends to meet together and if you are interested in traditional Chinese food, no regrets to come here!

Well, it may be that this institution has specialized in the fast patronage at the cheap lunch buffet, as the name suggests. To visit the evening card with the family unfortunately was a disaster. Cutlery you had to get yourself from other tables, there was not enough tickets and space on the warming stoves was not for 3 dishes. The 2 savior stars were there for the typical Asian hospitality and for the freshness of the vegetables, because the taste was neither the beef nor the rice for me convincing. Too bad, because visually this business is really inviting.

Now to all who complain about the fries and vanilla ice cream here. This is a China restaurant. The buffet with standard German duck sweet-sour is of course nothing, BUT here you can eat super authentic Chinese. It tastes almost like in China. Just do not order the buffet all you can eat for 6.99 € (which can not be good either), but à la carte. Otherwise, you will look so in vain in the vicinity of BS or H. And who was ever in China knows, the toilet must be so;)

Besides the regular buffet this restaurant provides an authentic Chinese menu. Also Peking duck is available with a pre-order time of about 3 days. This place is highly recommendable if you want to eat real Chinese food in Braunschweig.
